Educators play a critical role in ensuring early childhood programs effectively prepare DC’s children for success in school and in life. Pre-K for All DC seeks to support educators by advancing policies that ensure they have the support and resources necessary to execute their jobs effectively. The DC Early Childhood Educators Network Pre-K for All DC also seeks to directly support educators as they seek to ensure all children receive a high-quality early childhood education. In December 2008, Pre-K for All DC supported the launch of the Washington Teachers Union’s DC Early Childhood Educators Network. Open to teachers across all sectors, the Network seeks to build a constructive dialogue around teaching and learning between and among DC’s early childhood educators.
