Last week, the DC Council unanimously approved next year's budget. Thanks to your collective advocacy, Councilmembers strengthened DC's school reform efforts by investing nearly $20 million to implement the Pre-K Enhancement and Expansion Act of 2008 in next year's budget. In a tough economic climate, the DC Council answered our call to invest in our children's future and we need to let them know they did the right thing.
